Cookie Policy

This policy explains how SchematicStudio (schematicstudio.co.uk) uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: we use one cookie to keep you logged in, and a little storage in your browser to remember your settings. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job. They are widely used to make websites work and to remember your choices.
What we use

The login cookie is strictly necessary: without it you could not log in or save your drawings. The law allows these to be used without asking for your consent. The login cookie is marked HttpOnly (scripts on the page cannot read it) and SameSite=Lax (other websites cannot use it to act for you).
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No analytics or tracking cookies.
- No social media buttons or embedded videos from other sites that set cookies.
If this changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
Other companies' services
A few features take you to, or load something from, another company. They may set their own cookies, or see your IP address, under their own policies:
- Stripe handles card payments and the billing portal. You are on Stripe's pages when you upgrade, update your card or cancel. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Google if you choose "Sign in with Google". See Google's cookie information.
- unpkg is a content delivery network from which the editor loads its drawing library (Konva). It does not set cookies for us, but it receives your IP address when the library is fetched.
Managing and deleting cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (the "Help" menu of most browsers explains how). If you block the login cookie you will not be able to log in. Clearing your browser data will also remove your saved colour scheme, and you will be logged out.

Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we change how we use cookies, and the date at the top will change.
